Impact assessment of Sure Start Children’s Houses

In the earlier stages of the programme, several attempts have been made to measure the effects of Sure Start Children's Houses. In this research, we perform the impact assessment of children's houses, based on the results of these, taking advantage of the fact that in the new phase, it is possible to open new houses again. The research is planned to be carried out with the help of the classical methods of impact assessment, collecting data on the same parents and children in 2017 and 2021. We examine settlements where they apply for a Sure Start Children's House (experimental group of about 400 people), and  a control group of the same size in settlements of a similar type and social composition where no tenders were submitted.
